Saltspring Island Ales have released a new batch of one of their more unusual seasonal releases: their Earl Grey IPA.
Infused with bergamot, this 7% British-style IPA has a flavourful balance of crisp hop bitterness and malty caramel sweetness, fronted by beautiful floral and citrus aromas.
I had a couple of bottles of this one last year and the flavour profile was incredibly unique. I love when people push the IPA into new territory. Though, I am English, so I might be biased.
It’s in stores right now, but doesn’t tend to make it to far from the island, so if you see one, make sure to snap it up!
