This Gose is a little unconventional. While it is lightly soured by Lactobacillus fermentation and is slightly salted, this one was brewed with a grain bill of rye and wheat instead of Pilsner malt and wheat (it is Doan’s). It was also dry-hopped with Citra and Mosaic hops, which is interesting because a Gose typically doesn’t have much hop presence—hence the nose part of the name, I guess.
I love the silly name, but it doesn’t actually work, because Gose is pronounced Go-zah. #beernerd
