Menu Announced:

WELCOME BEER
PILS
A clean, crisp golden pale pilsner with a spicy, floral hop aroma. Polish Marynka and Saaz hops are the driving force in this brew’s hop character, resulting in a balanced, yet complex Pils.

FIRST COURSE
SPICY TUNA TARTARE
Wonton crisp

INDIA PALE ALE
Lighter than your average IPA, these Amarillo and El Dorado hops steal the show. The result is stone fruit, citrus and all around tropical hoppy goodness.

SECOND COURSE
CORN & CHORIZO FRITTER
Crème fraiche

RED 5 ALE
A full bodied red ale where the malt and hops battle it out creating a beautifully balanced brew. On the nose Citra hop aroma, hop spice from the Galena on the tip of your tongue, big caramel notes on the after palate, bitter finish.
The force is strong with this one.

THIRD COURSE
BRAISED PORK BELLY MOLE
Polenta, herb salad

CHOCOLATE MILK STOUT
This dark and broody milk stout is full-bodied and perfect to cuddle up next to a fire with. A solid and robust drink that has been aged on cacao nibs and shells provided by the East Van Roasting Company.

DESSERT
VANILLA PANNA COTTA
Rum roasted pineapple carpaccio

TINY LITTLE TART GOLDEN SOUR
Kettle soured, then fermented with our house ale yeast. Next, we dry hop the hell out of this beer with Equanot and Idaho 7 hops, both accentuating the beautiful bouquet of passion fruit and citrus.

Limited tickets available for $60 (taxes and gratuity included).

April 1: Feast of Fools

Strange Fellows Brewing, Vancouver, BC; 17:00–23:00 PST

The Feast of Fools at Strange Fellows Brewing
Strange Day #28 – April 1, 2017

VANCOUVER – Strange Fellows Brewing invites one and all to celebrate the absurd and join us for our inaugural Feast of Fools on Saturday April 1st.
5pm until the food runs out (but the silliness & beer will flow until 11pm)

Since the days of Chaucer, the Fool’s Day has played an important role to society’s health by allowing folks to let off a little steam. Medieval clerics celebrated the Fool’s Feast as an outlet for their innate foolishness, lest they be too silly year round. These days, the Fool’s Day is a reminder not to take ourselves too seriously.

Strange Fellows is an East Vancouver craft brewery inspired by tradition and creativity that celebrates the strange and extraordinary. We invite you to celebrate with us each month as we observe a different Strange Day, inspired by obscure superstitions and folklore from around the world.

Please join us for a festive evening of foolish revelry, delicious food, and of course beer! Irreverent behaviour, good-natured pranks, and silly costumes encouraged. Present a joke and receive a Free Beer.

$16 for a beer with dinner: BBQ brisket/salmon sandwich, house coleslaw, imperial mac n’cheese, and tarte à la bière.
