Three New BC Breweries Opened Last Weekend: Backroads Brewing, Twin City Brewing, and Trail Beer Refinery!

The BC craft beer scene seems to expanding at a relentless pace right now. We have seen a new brewery opening every couple of weeks so far this year and now this last weekend, three opened within two days of each other!

On Friday March 24, Backroads Brewing Company opened in Nelson and Twin City Brewing in Port Alberni, then Trail Beer Refinery in Trail opened on March 25.

Normally I like to do a post on each new brewery opening, but three at once is a bit much! Find out a little more about each below and click through to keep up with them on Facebook.

Backroads Brewing opened with four beers on tap: a saison, a kellerbier, a pale ale, and an Irish red.

Their hours are 12pm–8pm from Tuesday to Thursday, and 12pm–10pm from Friday to Saturday.

Find them on Facebook here.

Trail Beer Refinery opened with five beers on tap: their Silver City lager, Trail Ale; and brewed for them in Kelowa: a pilsner, a scotch ale, and an IPA.
