Luppolo Brewing in East Vancouver has announced plans to release their first ever bottled beer.
Named Agreste, which means ‘something good from the countryside’ in Italian, this bottle-conditioned wild farmhouse ale is said to have aromas of dark and stone fruit, which lead to flavours of citrus, pear, and subtle Brett funk, finishing with a balance of bitter and sweet.
Apparently, they used three different yeast strains to impart a delightful complexity, making it ideal to enjoy now or cellar for later.
Bottles will be available Sunday April 2nd in the Luppolo tasting room, with some being sent to select private liquor stores in the near future. There will only be 1000 bottles available so get them while you can!
