Dageraad Brewing in Burnaby BC has announced the release of the third entry in its Entropy series of barrel-aged beers.
Entropy Series No. 3 is described as a do-over of their gold medal winning Entropy Series No. 1. It is Dageraad Blonde aged for three months in pear brandy barrels, and then blended back with a small amount of fresh Blonde to bring back some hop character.
Entropy Series No. 1 was their first ever barrel-aged beer, and won a gold medal in the barrel aged category at the BC Beer Awards.
Entropy Series No. 3 will be available today at noon in the Dageraad tasting room. It will be limited to four bottles per customer.
