Kettle River Releases Barrel-Aged Ale with Rhubarb and The Great White NE IPA

Kettle River Brewing in Kelowna BC has announced the release of a special version of their one-year barrel-aged beer that has been refermented on rhubarb.

The beer is said to lightly flavoured with oak and hints of red wine then balanced from the tartness from the rhubarb.

They will have a limited amount of bombers available at their tasting room from 12 p.m. on August 9.

While you are there, also make sure to check out their new The Great White New England White IPA. It’s said to be a smooth-drinking beer with hoppy notes, a fruity finish, and a nice bite.
