Dageraad Brewing in Burnaby BC has announced the releases of a fresh batch of their seasonal Blonde IPA.
Blonde IPA is fermented with Belgian yeast and hopped with a blend of Hallertau Tradition from Germany and Amarillo from the US. Large amounts of both hops were used in the kettle and again during dry-hopping.
The aroma of the beer is a complex mixture of fruity yeast esters, spicy, herbal German hops and piney, citrusy American hops. Bitterness is firm enough to deliver a crisp finish, but is fairly mild compared to most IPAs.
Blonde IPA is bottle-conditioned for natural carbonation, and an extra layer of complexity.
Blonde IPA will be available at the Dageraad tasting room on Tuesday August 22n and will begin to be distributed to stores and restaurants the following day.
