Strange Fellows Brewing in Vancouver BC has announced that Little Red One (Batch 2) will be the second release of their 2017 “Fellowship” series.
Little Red One is a West Coast Lambic-style ale with black currants from the Fraser Valley, which has been barrel-aged for over a year and then bottle conditioned. This beer pours a deep red with aromas and flavours of oak, black tea, and tobacco.
The currants lend berry character but with a dry herbal note (rather than sweetness)—they liked the berry character of batch one so much that they decided to up the fruiting levels on this second batch.
Little Red One (batch 2) will be released at the Strange Fellows tasting room on Thursday, November 16 at 3pm. They will also have one keg on tap at this time.
