Powell Brewery to Release 5th Anniversary Barrel-Aged Hazy Brett IPA

Powell Brewery in Vancouver, BC has announced the release of their 5th anniversary ale

This unique anniversary beer features new and old world techniques: it started as a Hazy IPA, which was then aged for 6 months in Pinot Noir barrels with Brettanomyces, before being dry-hopped with Ekuanot Cryo Hops and finally bottle conditioned.

500ml bottles of 5 will be released at the brewery on Friday, December 15. It will ship to select private liquor stores next week.
