Powell Brewery in Vancouver BC has released a limited-edition seasonal called Norwegian Sun.
Norwegian Sun is a hazy IPA fermented with Norwegian Voss Kveik yeast and dry-hopped with a generous dose of El Dorado and Columbus. The yeast is said to provide aromas of peach and subtle spice, while the hops contribute flavours and aromas of tropical fruit, pineapple, mango, stone fruit, and pear.
Norwegian Sun will be available at the tasting room on March 9 and will ship to liquor stores starting March 12.
